First of all like all of the products I've had from Burt's Bees, this smells gorgeous. It is not as rich as say the hand salve or foot cream but I was fine with that because I don't really like body lotions that make the skin feel damp for ages. If you are looking for a rich lotion for very dry skin then maybe you would not get the deep moisturisation that you need from this product but I think as an everyday body lotion, this works beautifully.

Review 2 for Naturally Nourishing Milk & Honey Body Lotion
Excellent moisturiser but concerns over ingredient
01 April 2012
This really does moisturise skin for 24 hours and after initially dislliking the smell I have become accustomed to it and find it acceptable.
However, I share others' concerns over the ingredients of this and other items in the body range - in particular benzoates and magesium aluminium silicate. These are 'natural' but there have been concerns over their safety - I don't know if the concerns are justified but would prefer not to have them in the product. Perhaps there are no viable alternatives but it would be helpful if Burts Bees could explain this on the website.

Review 3 for Naturally Nourishing Milk & Honey Body Lotion
nothing wrong with this, but burts bees, please bring back the old formula! It smelt 100X nicer, the fragrance was so lovely i would've continued to buy forever, not loving this at all in comparison, so have changed to a new product!

Review 4 for Naturally Nourishing Milk & Honey Body Lotion
I was initially so disappointed with this new formula, having been such a fan of the last one after discovering it in the States. This new formula is more greasy and smells nothing like the previous formula I love. The fragrance is initially unpleasant on the skin - a kind of rubbery/chemical smell. BUT....folks, give it a while and the fragrance improves on the skin to a milder version of the original that appears to last much longer (something that the original didn't do for me and is a great benefit with this one). It is more akin to the fragrances of milk and honey, too. That said, I still miss the freshness of the previous formula, so there is good and bad in the new one. One last thing - a bit of a concern magnesium aluminium silicate being added in the new version.
